ishabh was born in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India on October 4, 1997 (age 25 as of 2022). Although he now resides in the United States, his family history can be traced back to Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. He went at Dehradun’s The Indian Public School. A graduate of New Delhi’s Sri Venkateswara College, he studied at Delhi University. Rishabh has always aspired to a career in cricket, and the Australian wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist has long been an idol of his. For his cricket training, he moved from Roorkee to Delhi when he was just 12 years old.

Career
In the 2015–16 season, Rishabh played for the first time in the Ranji Trophy. He scored 308 runs in an innings while playing for Maharashtra, making him the third-youngest Indian to achieve that feat in first-class cricket. It took Rishabh just 48 balls to score a century for Delhi against Jharkhand on November 8, 2016, setting a new Ranji Trophy record.
In February of 2017, he was named captain of Delhi for the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He took over for Gautam Gambhir, who led Delhi to the finals the year before. Rishabh’s preparation for the match was settled by consensus, according to Delhi coach Bhaskar Pillai.
In 2017, Rishabh was selected to play in his first Twenty 20 International for India, which they played in a series against England. He was the youngest one to debut T20 Match at only the age of 19.
In 2022, he was promoted to the position of deputy captain of the Indian team for the South African Tour of India. Due to KL Rahul’s injury, he had to sit out of the series, but one day before the match, he was promoted to the role of captain. He made history by being the youngest India captain to ever lead his team in a Twenty20 international. In India’s last game in England, he scored a century.
